Hi, I was given a Parking Charge Notice on the *9th* June for £100 which I am trying to appeal. There is a link on the ticket to ukcps.zatappeal.com to appeal online, however I have tried around 5 times now and get the message "Sorry, we cannot find this ticket - please check the details you have provided are correct" there is also a phone number listed below but have a seen on a couple of different threads to not call them under any circumstances. So just wondering how best to proceed here? Is the fine valid if it's not appearing not their system? I don't want to just assume this and ignore it though so any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Have you tried substituting O for 0 if your VRN includes them?

No, we never advise 'phoning a scammer in case you give away the driver's identity.

I suggest you try again in a day or two and see what happens.

Today is the 19th of June so are you saying it was issued today? If so it probably hasn't gone on to their system yet.

The advice in the Newbies thread is to appeal using the template on day 26 so hang fire before sending the tried and trusted template.
  • Sorry just edited it should have said 9th! And there are no 0's or O's in either the ticket number no my registration number.
  • perhaps if you knew the owners of zatappeal.com , you would be less likely to submit an appeal on there site
  • Okay, going to wait the 26 days but not sure where I can appeal to if I shouldn't call the number and can't find the ticket online as there is no email, best to do it by post? Also in the small print it specifically says appeals must be received with 21 days, should I ignore this too? And TWHITEHOUSESCAT what do you mean by that exactly is there something I'm missing about them?

zatappeal.com is a trading name of debt recovery plus/zzps

ukcps will never see your appeal , it is going to a de3bt collector , whos only way of making monies it to add charges on

type zatappeal into google and see the results , the results show that this company is used by many parking Co,s and is NOT UKCPS
  • Okay, so do you suggest the best course of action is to ignore zatappeal anyway and send my appeal to UKCPS in writing? (after the 26 days anyway)

If this was a windscreen PCN why are you trying to appeal it now?

The NEWBIES thread says to wait for a NTK in the post, with IPC firms. Did you get that?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Well I originally tried appealing on my own before reading anything on this site, then after finding this site I went through the NEWBIES forum and realised this was a bad idea. (So was glad I couldn't appeal when I tried before!) But then was just unclear on what to do with my ticket info not being found on the site.
