Hi all
At the side of my house I have a scruffy concrete driveway - no cars are ever driven along it, the main driveway to the front takes all the cars.
This scruffy concrete area...about 50ft x 10ft...has previously been surfaced with some red looking tarmac stuff say 20 years ago that is all now lifting and its 80% concrete.
any suggestions on how to improve this without spending £ thousands would be appreciated.
TIA
Bob

Take it up, lay hardcore, compact it, lay gravel if budget allows.
As you discover, the ground is always moving and it takes concrete with it. You don't have a decent base anymore so I wouldn't put anything over the existing surface.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
