You haven't received a proper lbcca have you?
You are too late to appeal to EPS (would have been futile anyway - see FAQ on appeals to IPC companies)
Wait and see if you get a LBCCA and take it from there (#2 in the FAQ advises on court claims)0 -
Ok thats what I had suspected.
I'm sure I'll get a proper one soon enough then!
Thank you0 -
Hi guys,
I got the LBCCA the other day and have responded to the parking company asking for a SAR. I asked for:
Evidence they paid the solicitors the £60, all photos taken on the day of the PCN with signage, letters/emails sent.
Its a free car park for 45 mins so I cant ask for payment reports on the machines.
They have replied asking me for a copy of my ID to prove who I am. I'm assuming I can tell them they should allready have enough info on me as they have sent letters to my address?
They have also said that they cannot send me specific requests other than personal data because they relate to litigation which can only be released once the court process has started.
Does anybody know a good course for action here?
And to be honest, if I do have to go to court I'm going to lose out on £100 worth of wages, along with the time I spend on this. It may just be worth paying it off? On the other hand they shouldnt be able to get away with this...0 -
read this https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5849784/june-2018-start-of-the-new-ppc-and-dvla-fightback-gdpr-related about SAR and ID requests etc
you do not have to attend your local court if you dont wish to do so, it can be dealt with on papers and you can signal that intention anytime until a week or two before the court hearing date0 -
Ive received a letter about a parking fine about last demand, this is the first letter ive had as the address to myself is incorrect. So the fine is about overstaying, however I stayed 39mins in a car park where they allow 45mins free. How can I deal with this, ive already send an appeal from the newbies thread.0
