If you don't mind, could you please elaborate, like, what is the full form of FRO and who should I tell them - Management Company? (Sorry, I tried Newbies thread and Google, but couldn't find the FRO)
    Your Google skills need honing.

When I asked Google, the fourth entry returned was from Urban Dictionary. Within that entry, the third definition is the most appropriate one.

Kindly suggest or feel free to make any changes if you think it needs more improvements.
Way too verbose, and strays off the point. Brevity is the key. You must be succinct and to the point. Waffling on about irrelevant stuff, like a suppose £200 loss, just allows them to answer the easy questions they want to, and avoid answering the real crux of the matter.

I'm not going to write it for you, but stick to points they really cannot avoid
    • Your tenancy gives you the exclusive right to park
    • There are no conditions regarding permits around parking
    • Your displaying of a permit is merely a courtesy and not an acknowledgement of any kind of contract with the parking company
    • Neither the management company nor the parking company is in a position to "offer" a contract to park under certain conditions (which is what they are trying to do) as you already have that right to park
    • The management company, as principal, can and WILL cancel the parking charges
    • You formally withdraw from the parking scheme, and any further notices applied to your car in your space will be treated as trespass (this may need to come from the landlord, who is tha actual owner)
You can reuse some of you words in these points, like the right to park. And don't "ask" for cancellation, demand it.

FRO is a rude acronym. It means "go forth and multiply".
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Is that Pinnacle in Reading? If so they are one of my MA's.

I have warned them that, if they even think of appointing a PPC at one of my properties , I will be very cross indeed.

I'm back with a good news. Success. I got the parking tickets canceled and opted out of patrolling too :j

Here is what happened. My landlord has kindly offered to send an email directly to the MA. We have taken most of the points for the email based on the suggestions, links and words from the defenses copied above etc, all from this thread only, mainly focusing on our rights on the parking bay etc. My landlord took this issue very seriously and after an anger email from him, MA has agreed to both, canceling the notices and opting-out our parking bay of the patrolling going further(by UKCPM).

I'm lucky that my landlord was very helpful to me in this situation.

Most importantly, I really appreciate all the great help & support and your valuable time, to all of the people in this forum. I was a novice before this, but your kind advice and suggestions are invaluable in gaining loads of self-confidence. Honestly, you guys are doing an awesome job to the society, in educating people like me with your excellent knowledge and experiences :A

I'm now more interested to follow and keep an eye on the posts related to this topics from time to time to gain more knowledge. Thank you all once again :)

Hahaha, very well done to you and your Landlord.

If UKCPM apply any PCNs now, you can sue them.

Now please put a letter through the door of every house / flat telling them all they need to do is send the management agency a letter saying they opt out of the use of the PPC. That'll be a sigh t to behold when they start arriving.

Go for it, if everyone opts out the regime is dead & buried.
