Office outlook 2007

I am using office outlook 2007,until recently when emails are in my inbox a brief description of the contents was shown in the inbox column this as now gone how do I reinstate this preview

    There'll be a View menu option that allows you to select the Preview method. (Usually Off, Right or Below).
