Replace part of wing mirror

Anybody please know how hard it is to replace cracked "supporting ring" of a wing mirror, please? MSE won't allow me to post a link to show what I mean, but it's the plasticy bit around the mirror, not the big bit behind the actual mirror.
TIA

It might be helpful to tell us the make, model and year of the vehicle.0

The first question is, is the part still available? First port of call would be to ask the main dealer if that part can be purchased separately, and if so, how much.
After that, and a strong cup of tea, I'd probably phone around a few local car dismantlers and see if they have something suitable. You'd probably have to buy the whole thing from them (so if it's electric, try to see it working) but it might still be less costly.0 -
Seems to be plenty of choice on ebay
