Quick Answer Needed Please With Regard To Watermarks!

Hi Guys

I've been asked if I can insert a watermark on a word document. Pretty straight forward I thought, until I tried it. There's only two pages and a different watermark is wanted on both pages.

Now, I've read through all the instructions, I've watched the training video, and I still can't get it to show a different watermark on the first page and the second pages?

I've tried doing as it tells me and deleting the page breaks> inserting break> new page> ok> etc and then doing the View Header and Footer options, but when I try to delete the second page watermark it won't let me for some reason and I've checked to make sure I'm on the second page.

I'm totally stumped and it's beginning to drive me mad now!

Help please!

I couldn't do this through a Word option but found option in my printer. When you go to File print you get the usual screen to select how many pages, go to preference and there will be an option in there. It depends on which printer you have but majority give you this.

Just re-read your post. What I said above it give you the same watermark on each page. you can either choose or add the watermark you need, print that page and then change it for the rest. Or go into each document and add a word art text box, choose the slanted text and the very light grey colouring you can then type your text. IF you find it overlaps the text, right click on the handles of the test box and choose format picture or box and so you get the screen which tells you how to position it and I think that is where there is another option to make your box transparent, I know it is under one of these headings.

    Thanks girls.

Jasmin, I think I might have to try that way, as I've tried following those instructions that Rose gave, but it still doesn't work!

Arrrgh, I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

Can you not create two separate word documents, then copy and paste the second page into the first?

(Too tired to actually try this, just throwing ideas at you, sorry).
