in Credit cards
A Company refusing to accept my credit card payment when i turned up at the address, they told me i must make payment over the phone through Barclaycard.
Is this a third party and would it affect my consumer rights.
Should i be concerned about this as it's a large purchase?

Sounds odd but more details needed really.
If Barclaycard are simply acting as a payment processor on behalf of the merchant then it doesn't break the link as far as S75 is concerned, but this might be some other type of service.0 -
Are they geared up to receive customers at the address you visited?
That said, it is often a rule that if you pay over the phone/online, the goods must be delivered to the cardholder's address, at least to start with. Taking a CC over the phone/online and then allowing someone to collect is open to fraud, unless they can present the card at the time of collection.
Agree, more detail needed.0
