Ebay shop or no shop?

Is there any benefit on ebay having a shop to sell or not? I did their price comparison and it works out essentially the same having or not having a shop (around £150 a month).
So is their any benefits of having a shop on ebay?

I'm assuming you are a business and sell mainly BIN items?
On ebay there is a comparison tool that shows when it becomes cost effective to have a shop based on the normal cost of listings versus the cost of the shop (from memory basic is currently £30 including VAT), with the shop you get 250 BIN listings and 50 auctions included for free each month.
The reason I have a shop is purely because of holiday settings. I holiday a lot plus work some funny hours sometimes and with a shop I can just turn off my BIN listings entirely so no one can buy them.
