  • Hi,

its been a month since my case was transferred to a local court but I havent heard anything from the court.

I just checked MCOL but no updates. Should I just wait? Or should I take any action?

    Thanks

You could ring the local court next week to check if the case is proceeding and maybe just held up due to staff holidays and a backlog at that court.

It will at least put your mind at rest that you've not missed a letter.

  • Hi,

I finally received a latter from the allocated court saying my hearing will take place in March 2019. Isn't it too long?

Also the letter mentions about witness statement but doesn't mention about Skeleton Argument. Do I still need to write it?

    Thanks

They are hoping that both parties settle so they aren't bored to death with yet another load of nonsense from Gladstones.

You have no obligation to write a Skeleton Argument.
    Your choice.

    Hi,

I knew they would but I received another court claim from Gladstones for the ticket I briefly mentioned in this thread before.

This ticket was issued for my old car in a different lot but within the same parking.

I'd like to ask for advice on the new claim too.

Should I open a new thread? Or carry on here?

I've already done AOS on MCOL. I'd need help with writing the defence.

    Thank you

Do you want to run the second case at COURT separately or do you want to combine. That will be the relevant part to whether there should be two threads or one.

At least Acknowledge the claim, defend and then contact the court to combine them if that is the way you want to do it.

Also if you did a SAR, how many times have they accessed your data as that could be the number of claims you get.

I want to combine the 2 cases.

I don't know what SAR is but I will search for it when I get a chance.
