Hello all,
How does Mobile insurance with banks work? Does it cover purchases prior to getting the insurance?
E.g. I get the insurance from a bank I bank with but the phone I want to cover I bought it in January.
Would it cover it? Can I claim if there is damage to the phone?

I think so. With my bank it is a matter of registering the phone with them (you need the IMEI number). There will likely be some sort of excess.0

Wouldn't those questions best be asked of the insurer's helpline?
They will know the correct answers - it's their insurance package!0 -
Nationwide wide flex-plus cover does as you have asked. I've claimed for both loss & damage - there is different excesses for each scenario though (and more for iphones)0
