Boiler and bathroom upgrade

Hi folks, new poster.
I've decided (finally) to upgrade my boiler and bathroom.
I'm going from a 1980s workhorse boiler + hot tank to a Combi. I'm going to update my bathroom, full suite change and redecorate. I'm budgeting 6-7.5k for the work.
I looked at the boiler replacement a while back - I don't think I need to relocate the boiler but it might help with storage and help prevent some soot marks on my brick work. Relocating to the bathroom might require the bath to move location.
My question is how would you tackle the two bits of work? Who Would you contact in the first place? a plumber? Gas engineer? Bathroom fitter?
Would you get two different contractors? Or would someone offer the whole lot? Would someone likely be a lead contractor and organise the other trades for me?
I'm in the North East England.
Thanks for any help!!

It's feasible to get one plumber-type to do both jobs. My plumber does both plumbing and heating. He has recently re-located my boiler and installed a Megaflo system.
Some specialise in bathrooms and plumbing, others may specialise in gas engineering. You should easily find someone to do both. I'd say find someone through local recommendation though as there are so many of these folks around its good to know you've got one who will do a good job.0
