I'm awaiting the update, I think it was this weekend ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

the nation waited with baited breath to hear how the campsite faired ...
just scrolling back up this thread, within a few days of my posting Stan's preferred mode of camping he acquired a sister, and the van acquired a hastily built double hound bed ... what would we do without these reprobates?! (her elderly predescesor wasn't a fan of the automobile and preferred the floor)0 -
Sorry to disappoint but it's not for another few weeks.
If the weather turns and it's raining we'll be absolutely fine as himself will
simply decline to get out of the car.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Yep already got one for the garden. Plus a chain to go with it which is guaranteed unchewable. Not that I don't trust him or anything. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Gitdog was so traumatised he was indeed a model of good behaviour.
He didn't appreciate being left on his own in the tent (safely crated) while I socialised - in a new place and scared of the dark, the big wuss.
Then I wouldn't let him in the bedroom bit with me, so he had to stay in the outer bit of the tent. Hypothermia set in as I'd overlooked his jumper so he got his own back by waking me up for a 4 am walk.
He was basically too knackered after that to misbehave, and I was told off for casting nasturtiums on what was clearly a much maligned paragon of virtue - never seen him so [STRIKE]subdued[/STRIKE] well-behaved.
Said paragon lasted till we got home and he had a proper kip before normal service was resumed.
Future learning curves:
Check the length of the lead before chucking treats in the tent. Or indeed food of any sort.
Take blackout curtains for himself.
Ensure his winter woollies are broken out even if it's a hot weekend in August.
Expect him to show me up by being all the things I say he isn't.
We are currently bidding for a tent on eBay, much to his distress. He's possibly more your glamping type of dog.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

He did bestir himself enough to come third in agility. And before anyone says it, there were more than 3 taking part.
Although it's fairly safe to say we now know flyball is not his forte.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Nope, but they were all bull terriers which possibly amounts to the same thing. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
