The problem is your tablet and phone are likely using versions of Android whilst your laptop will be using Windows. Apps don't transfer easily between the two. You may need to embrace a difference between your phone/tablet and your laptop. it won't take long to get used to.

Yes, I sort of thought that. If it wasn't for google updating their calendar with all it's colours etc, I would have retained that.

For your laptop, just use the windows calendar app and sign in with your Google calendar account. So that's that one sorted.
Now on your tablet/phone you can use the Samsung App you prefer. Or, you can try this one......

Believe it or not, but Ive had issues with microsoft for years, simply because I couldnt remember my password and had forgotten which email account I used initially, however, today it is sorted with a new account and old one closed and I now have a great month to view calendar which is pinned to taskbar. Could it now appear in my favs list?.

You didn't need a MS account, you could have just added your Google calendar account to the Windows app.
Then your Google calendar to whatever phone/Tablet app and they will all be in sync.

I use Google calendar through the chrome browser on my windows laptop.

And both Google and Samsung front ends on my Samsung devices.

I also forward emails containing events to my Gmail account, and they go straight into my calendar and Google maps.

Thanks, today has been a learning curve. I now have the One Calendar on each of my devices which was my aim. It is clear and perfect for my needs. No doubt I will re-read everything tomorrow, but a streaming cold means Im uncomfortable tonight.

Hopefully you have one calendar which you are synchronising and maintaining through a number of different devices!

One calendar. Many apps to access it.
