How do I stop Yahoo Messenger starting up every time I turn on my computer?

    Presuming you are running XP.

    Click Start>Run. Type msconfig a box will appear. Select startup (at the top) scroll down till you see Yahoo messenger untick the box then click apply then OK. You will need to restart the computer for the settings to take effect.
