Met parking services

Evening guys!
I am currently appealing a PCN from Met. I used the forum template and requested a Popla number.
I heard no news about my appeal, instead received a letter saying my appeal may get rejected and to pay now, which I ignored. Now today I received a final demand for payment and in this letter Met also tell me that the POPLA service is no longer available and to pay now.
Does anyone here have any advice for me? I have screenshots of my appeal reference number as proof I submitted one.

Why do they say POPLA is no longer available?
Have you perhaps missed the opportunity to appeal to POPLA?
Some dates would be useful.
Date of the parking event?
Was there a windscreen ticket?
Date of receiving the Notice to Keeper?
Date you appealed to MET?
Date of their 'appeal may get rejected and to pay now' letter?
Edited to add:
I've just re-read your earlier post.
Could it be that PoPLA may not be available to you because you were apparently parked on land covered by Byelaws at Stansted Airport?0 -
Was it in McDonalds? If so there are many threads on here that you should read.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
It was at the Macdonalds car park. I will post letters dates tomorrow evening. But I appealed the first one the day I received it, so they should give me a POPLA number. I am currently away but will take pictures of each letter.0

complain to the BPA AOS email address, with copies of all paperwork and a brief timeline
complain at the lack of a popla code being issued and so a breach of their CoP0 -
Here is a copy of the letter that Met have told me via email is my appeal rejection letter with no POPLA number that I requested.

Dear Mr
Parking Charge Notice: MP| Date of Issue: vehicle Registration Mark:
Thank you for your correspondence. As advised on the charge notice our appeal process is open for 28 days from issue of the charge notice and the time period for lodging an appeal is now closed and the charge notice remains outstanding and payable.
Whilst we have not considered your appeal it is likely that, had you appealed within the 28 day timescale, the appeal would have been unsuccessful as your vehicle was recorded as remaining at this location for longer than the 60 minute maximum permitted stay. Please now pay the outstanding charge, methods of payment are shown overleaf.
Yours sincerely
MET Parking Services Limited Customer Services Department
Payment Methods
When making a payment please have the Vehicle Registration BY POST !!!8211; You can pay by cheque or postal order made payable to: MET Number and Parking Charge Notice number available and follow the Parking Services Ltd.

Why do expose yourself on a public forum ????
DELETE ALL PERSONAL DETAILS0 -
They do not actually say that my appeal was rejected and have completely ignored my request for a POPLA number0
-
Urgently follow the advice in #7!
Presumably you appealed too late hence no POPLA code
If this presumption is incorrect send complaint to BPA0 -
No I appealed when I first got the Pcn, they did not send a first Pcn with the lower penalty they just sent a final reminder for the £100 Pcn and repeated this the next day. So all I received at first were 2 final reminders at the £100 fixed penalty.0
