Shower is very hot in hot weather

Hello
Thought I'd ask another question. I have a strange problem.
In hot weather my shower (electric shower) is very very hot, even when it's turned down to cold! In really hot weather the water just too hot to shower in.

We do not have this problem in the winter, only in hot weather. Does anyone know why?
Thanks
Annie

Yes - the water coming into your home is warmer in the summer and therefore is hotter coming out of the shower!

Do you have a power setting on the shower, maybe cold, I, II, III something like that??

Also check, if fitted, that the isolation valve is fully open.
Your main stopcock is not restricting flow.
The shower input filter is not blocked. (turn water off before checking)
The shower head isn't blocked with scale
Check the shower head is the right one for the shower and no one has fitted a flow restrictor.

Doing all this with a view to removing any flow restrictions.

If the problem persists it could be a faulty flow valve (££) or scaled up heater (££)

No, just a dial on the front that I turn up/down to make the water hotter/colder. Is that what you mean?
    thanks

I could also be that your water pressure is lower in the summer than in the winter.
More people using their garden hosepipes, washing their cars etc.
Could cause a slight drop in pressure that is very noticeable in a shower.
    Just a thought..........
