DIY Conservatory

Hi, very interested in building my own conservatory, ones with the metal bases
Been looking at various companies who do this, this one seems to have been around a while... https://www.conservatoryland.co.uk
Anybody recommend them and/or advise on the longevity/feel/usage of the metal bases compared to the traditional bricks/concrete bases?
The video on the website (https://www.conservatoryland.com/build-your-own-conservatory/) makes it look do-able for a competant DIY'r

30 years ago I put one of the Wickes ones on my previous house, had similar metal girder structure for the base, but used full height wooden frames, lower 1/3 wood and glass above
Worst part was the roof esp as it was polycarbonate and fixing the bars which held that down was tricky, had to hit it with just right amount of force.
Those steel wall are quite novel not seen or heard of that before.
Think if it was me I'd get a man in to fit the windows and the roof glass but apart from that all looks quite straight forward
Its still standing by the way ...0 -
I was thinking of the same thing WRT the upper part
Although was thinking might also consider.... just purchasing the base/walls from them and look/wait for a high quality (4mx3m) second hand conservatory on ebay, then use this company to put it together for me ...
