    This would also apply to putting the electricity etc into your name too. Two completely separate accounts, the one in your late husbands name is not your responsibility.


    I would be inclined not to let any of your money go into any account with Santander - just in case!

    This is awful - someone (not you) needs to give them feedback on how not to deal with recently bereaved people, particularly when it is incorrect advice
