H.P. Deskjet 840C

I have the above printer and it has gone faulty
It didn't print well and was faint

I have replaced both Ink cartridges but still no good

Any ideas

    Have you tried the head cleaning utility that is usually part of the software you loaded when you got the printer.?

    HP cartridges have the head built in, so head cleaning should not be necessary, but may be worth a try to ensure the ink is flowing properly.
