ITV Hub on Roku problem

I have a Roku 2. When I play a show on the ITV Hub app, it it will play fine until the first commercial break, after which the Roku returns to the main menu. After that, I cannot play any shows (if I try, it will attempt to load and then return to the Roku menu straight away). If I uninstall the ITV Hub and then reinstall it, it works again but only until the first commercial break, then the problem repeats. Any tips on how to solve this? It's not a problem on any other app.
