cupboard lock

We've bought an IKEA Pax/Komplement wardrobe.
Assembled it without too much trouble but now we would like to lock it.
I bought a simple lock
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAM-LOCK-for-Filing-Cabinet-Mailbox-Drawer-Cupboard-Locker-Complete-with-2-Keys/112416756041?hash=item1a2c8f9149:m:mWwCtKNAe-4M96xmy1wxlkg
but sadly it's not long enough at 22mm - it really needs to be twice as long.
The firm I bought it from only go up to 32mm, but really need bigger.
That then got me thinking that maybe there was a better option/system as, having drilled the door I will also need to put something inside for the lock to turn in to.
Any ideas?
