Closing TSB to open HSBC. Will I have to pay back Incentive?

Hi

I opened a tsb account in December and was given £100 bonus 30 days later.

If i close the account to switch to another am i liable to pay it back?


I can't see any reference in t and c's anywhere?

    Then you have your answer. Six months is more than enough time to test out the account and decide it's not for you.

    Why don't you use the CASS to switch your TSB account to HSBC?

    You might be eligible for a switching incentive, and any random payments into your TSB account will be automatically forwarded.

    Seventh Anniversary 500 Posts Name Dropper
    HSBC Advance accounts are running a £150 bonus if you switch using the current account switching service.


    You just have to transfer over with at least 2 direct debits/standing orders and pay in at least £1750 per month for at least 9 out of the first 12 months.


    If you do this then they also give you another £50 bonus after the 12 months.
