Car Shop Northampton

What a bunch of inept staff are at Car Shop Northampton.
We are trying to buy a car here but the 'Salesman' was so lax he was almost in reverse and smelt strongly of cannabis on three separate occasions.
They did have car we wanted and at a price we were willing to pay BUT........
The issues we now have are that we have paid over £11,500 to car shop and don't have the car Due the following issues
1. Keys missing
2. Mileage added
3. Windscreen cracked and needs replacing (Told would take a day initially now four days but God only knows when)
4. Money taken in 10 mins when asked for money back told would take 7 days.
5. Cannot get hold of a manager to take charge or responsibility and get problems sorted.
6. No one interested in complaints
7. No process in place for cherished plates and at point of collecting vehicle told had to hand over another £500.

I cannot warn people to avoid these rip off merchants too strongly.

We are still in dispute and awaiting money back or a senior manager to resolve our dispute.
I will take them to court if necessary.

Why would anyone buy a car from someone reeking of green? You are hardly likely to get home and recommend Bob Marley car sales to your family.

But they're not a traditional dealer - they're the equivalent of Ryanair and everything has a price. If you absolutely must buy from them (and given the choice of vehicles available it suits some people) then you make sure everything is documented before handing over your money and you have a back-up plan for when things don't go to plan.

If you want customer service/problem ownership etc then you go to someone who actually wants to sell you a car and wants to build a longer term relationship with you
  • Personally I would have asked him if he had a joint to spare.

So, umm, why did you insist on putting so much effort into buying from these muppets?
