Amex

Just wondering if anyone else is suffering in the same way as I am with an Amex "Plevin" complaint? They wrote to me in October last year to advise me I was potentially affected by Plevin and suggesting I opened a complaint, which I duly did. However, after 8 weeks had passed I'd heard nothing so called them up to see what was happening, only to be told that they were waiting on the Ombudsman to advise them how to calculate payments, and until this had been resolved no complaints were being processed. I was told this again about a month later when I chased again. I chased them again in January, only to be told that they were really busy and my complaint was in the backlog. I've been told this on at least 2 further occasions.
It's now approaching 8 months since I complained, if what they're telling me is true there must be a lot more people in the same position.......
