    I'd say it's the abbreviation for an internal function within Santander.

    Its an independent MA but it works with same astate agent as well

    Boom, there you go, avoid all estate agent services as their quality is not exactly ground breaking. I would get a truly independent MA who doesn't get kick backs from EA

    I hope they requested all your credit files from all the agencies, if not why not?

    Never go for a mortgage adviser that works for an estate agent

  • This is exactly why brokers should not give access to the intermediary website just complicates everything customers seeing information they aren't supposed to and brokers playing dumb not giving answers simply because they are not allowed to explain what that decisIon means you will never get any joy phoning Santander when you did your mortgage application through a broker you will always be directed to your point of sale unless you are at pre completion stage (once agreed by underwriters and passed to mortgage centre)

    Possible acronym meanings for FCO;
    Financial Compliance Officer - details of application?
    Fixed Capital Outlay - Seeking to borrow more than 4.5 time income (or 3.5 if joint app)
    Foreign & Commonwealth Office - are you a permanent UK resident?

    just possible thoughts...
