External Hinges on UPVC Doors?

I have been told if i decide on a conservatory door which opens outward it must have external hinges?
Hinges on the outside rings alarm bells with me as i prefer them inside in case someone could try and break the door off the hinges, having the door opening outside would give a bit more space but i am concerned about intruders and gusts of wind blowing an external door off it's hinges.
I might well stick to internal but i just wanted to ask if anyone else has external hinges on UPVC doors and how secure are they?:(
Enjoy everyday like it's your last!

Where would you expect the hinges to be?
If they were on the inside then the door wouldn't be able open outwards
