Yeah Kiran, Regen has been done. as 6 weeks ago I had to drive my car in limp mode for a week which meant the exhaust light came on which meant a regen.Garage B have covered everything hence why its on its way back to Garage A to get the EGR valve done again

Did you go to this garage and say "These are the symptoms", or did you say "Please change the EGR valve"?

As a rule, any car that has been "fixed" under the emissions scandal should get preferential treatment if there are any issues with the EGR or DPF for two years after said fix.

Just to complete the post. Picked up my car on Saturday and it is back up and running.

    EGR Valve fitted...

"must have been a bad batch " of EGR Valves was the garages response.

They have offered a discount on any work next time I go to the garage.

I had problems after the fix, and what sorted it was removing the software update and reinstalling it, and it's been fine since.
This was done at an Independant VW specialist as I didn't trust Audi being as their installation of the fix caused problems
