Transfer photos.

Options
Hi
I have my photos backed up on a external hard drive and now I want to transfer them to my PC using Picasa. There are hundreds of sub folders in a main folder, is it possible to transfer all the sub folders in one hit or do I have to transfer them one at a time.
Running win 10.

You could just drag and drop the Main folder onto your PC in one go, then let Picasa or Google Photos pick them up from there (I thought they'd discontinued Picasa).

So did I. Used picasa for generations (nearly) so when they announced it was going, took to google photo's. Have to say, when I take a photo on phone or tablet and they each sync to google photo's which I have on all three devices, I kinda feel smug.

Picasa is discontinued, it was discontinued two and a half years ago but of course if you have it installed it will continue to work.

    Its replacement is Google Photos.

You may find they are already in google photos. Goto google photos in web browser/app and login to google account (if you have one).
