Double Glazing - Love Windows? Other recommendations? Cost?

Love Windows have just started advertising on TV with the actress who plays Dot Cotton. They are saying any sized window for £299 all in. The windows are triple glazed A+ and the website looks impressive enough, but there seems to be no information about them before April/May? There are mostly positive reviews on Trust pilot but again only from the past month or so and nothing before. Are they new or a relaunch of another company? Any recommendations please?
We are considering replacing 14 windows (assuming a square bay is 3) and possibly two doors, so I am just trying to get an idea of costs. We had a salesperson out last year but never did get a straight answer how much it would cost after wasting an hour or so listening to the sales pitch, so cancelled the follow up.
Many thanks

Always best to get windows & doors from a local company, any family run companies near you ?0

I have not checked yet, as having an indication of price and other details is helpful to be able to compare.
We had a salesperson round a year or so ago from one of the national companies - it was all very interesting, but we left it as they wouldn't give a firm price in writing and identify what it included. They were apparently going back to the office and would send something through but never did.0 -
Getting replacement windows & doors is always a good idea but unfortunately some sales people confuse the process.
Get my windows & doors from a local company with a high st presence, they make their own upvc windows on site.Doors they get in and trim if necessary so everything fits very well and no need to large gaps with foam !
good luck0 -
We have just had windows and doors fitted by love windows.
We don’t recommend at all. Very disappointed.
They are due back out this week to sort all problems out.
Wrong size window, Chip in a window, scratches on glass. Mastic is horrendous a child could do better. Sills have deep scratches. I could go on.
There complaints policy has Certass but I’ve contacted them and they have cancelled there registration but wouldn’t say why and told me to contact trading standards.!
I have a feeling something is going on in background.
Also they were on phone from office before fitters finished asking for payment!!!! And again day after when I explained we had problems.
Then again manager asked for payment whilst at our house looking at the problems. Even thought he agreed it was a mess!!!0 -
I’ve had windows fitted by this company and would definitely NOT recommend them.
Some of the issues,
1. Claim to be CERTAS registered, this is even on their contract that you get but they’re definitely NOT CERTAS registered
2. Show you different sample windows to what you actually receive
3. The quality of fitting is terrible with big gaps when you close the window, I can fit a metal ruler through the gap!
4. The fitters came to my house with no ladders! They were fitting 4 upstairs windows! They had to borrow mine.
5. They make promises to put things right but these aren’t kept and there’s always an excuse
6. The fitters don’t clean up after themselves properly, left screws on my drive!
7. The gaps left in the window beading is massive
8. Some windows had to be cut down and then hammered in as they were too big
9. The window frames were fitted twisted and not level meaning the windows don’t close properly
I have probably missed loads but these are some of the issues. Going with this company was a big mistake for me. They’re cheap for a reason, poor quality windows and poor fitters.0
