Can i withdraw from a RBS branch as a natwest customer

Hello,

Lost my card and cancelled it this morning, didn't ask for a emergency cash code as I didn't realise there was an RBS branch close to me (there is no NatWest near me), I'm wondering as a NatWest customer if I'm able to withdraw money from inside the branch with ID on me, does anybody know?

Thanks in advance :)

That one I guess is for either bank to answer, ring or chat online to find out.

It should be fine, you can use either RBS or Natwest branches.

No. The two banks are separately run and not interchangeable.

That's been my experience. I tried to withdraw change - for car park machines - from a NatWest branch with my RBS card and they told me that they couldn't access my RBS account, so they suggested I withdraw notes from their cash machine using my RBS card and they changed them for coins at the counter. :)

This used to be the case but they can do some cross-servicing now.

When the recent spate of RBS branch closures was announced, RBS advised that RBS customers in England and Wales can use NatWest branches instead:

    https://www.rbs.com/rbs/news/2018/05/rbs-announces-branch-network-changes-in-england-and-wales.html

An RBS spokesperson said: "..Customers of Royal Bank of Scotland in England & Wales will be able to use NatWest branches instead for their everyday banking needs."

I don't know whether it works the other way round though, i.e. whether NatWest customers can use RBS branches, but logic would say that they can. Of course, NatWest's rules might not be logical.
