Hi, hoping for some advice, I purchased my home in 2016, the windows were fitted in 2009 and I have the Fensa cert guaranteeing work for 10 years, I’ve noticed that one of the windows has dropped slightly (bay window).
Question is what can I do if the window company went into liquidation in 2015?
Thanks for any advice.

who has provided the guarantee and is it insurance backed?
Fensa is just a "competent" person scheme that says your windows comply with building regs, they aren't installers and they don't provide guarantees of anythingThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

If it's insurance backed then it's the insurance company who would rectify warranty issues if the company is no longer tradingThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hi thanks but how would I know if it is insurance backed and how to find out please?
For warranty claims it says contact head office but no insurance details, and the head office number is not working.0 -
