Eurotunnel and pets - advise please

Options
I am thinking of going via the Eurotunnel. What are they like for travellers with pets?
I will be going with two dogs.

Any tips on the way out and coming back via Calais?

Have never travelled with a dog or dogs before and always gone via the ferry. This is all very new and daunting to me.

If your dogs are fine in the car they will be fine in the tunnel.

We frequently do it with our two large dogs. Remember to add them when you pay for your ticket.

In the UK there is a fairly big (fake) grass play area while you wait for the trains. You don't have to do anything special.

In France you have to follow the 'pets' sign (can't remember exactly what it is called but it is fairly obvious) before you go through the first barriers to prove that you have passports and did the deworming thing (this will probably be very similar to the ferry process). There is also a tiny area where your dogs can go to the bathroom.

As long as you have their pet passport it's easy, and no hastle. You have to visit a vet a certain time before coming home to get a wormer, and a stamp in the passport. We booked this in advance with help from our accommodation who had dogs.

At check in you drive to the pet area, they will hand you a wand to scan the chip of each dog, and it's as easy as that. Then you drive to the queue as normal.
