Bank account closed due to cifas

I have had a bank account with nationwide for about 6months today I suddenly got an email telling me they were closing it as I was not any longer someone they wanted to have a business relationship with. On phoning and enquiring they said they are closing it as there is something on my cifas that meant they were closing it. Is this normal do banks monitor cifas and the. Close accounts what if whatever it is causes the other bank i bank with to close that! Can anyone help will all my bank accounts with everyone be closed. Apparently cifas is due to an application W for a bank account a while ago apperently something wrong with that no idea what and defaulted Ee contract

Ask CIFAS what the marker is for.0 -
Is it likely that all my other bank accounts will be shut even ones I!!!8217;ve had for years ie do all banks routinely monitor cifas then go around closing accounts0
