I think I must have smashed a few mirrors because I seem to have a lot of bad luck in this house selling game lol.
After much chasing up was told the buyer would sign (exchange?) on Friday could we, so went and signed paperwork on Friday. But its Tuesday today and still no news his end. Being told his solicitor isn't in the office.
If he wants to pull out, why doesn't he just pull out, so we can find someone else.
My question is how likely is he to walk away now, he surely will have to pay fees to solicitors, searches etc (he didn't have a survey)?
Getting panicky.

The fact that they didn't get a survey done would be throwing all sorts of red flags up for me0 -
What sort of buyer is he?
Cash?
Developer?
When did you hear from/of him last?
My exchange was delayed by 12 days beyond the date we'd worked to - even though he was keen as mustard0 -
Who told you that he was going to sign contracts last Friday?Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0

Signing contracts & exchanging contracts are 2 different things & unless specifically requested because of financial constraits, do not usually take place on the same day. Perhaps you need to clarify this with your solicitor in case there has been some misunderstanding? The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Last week he suggested the days. He's a developer. He's taken builders to the property on a couple of occasions. The EA said he has plans to extend the attic and the back of the house. Just wish he'd say if he wants to back out so I can get new buyer or if a problem tell me, solicitors saying no one available.0

Last week told Friday to complete, 31 Oct (today) to exchange, but not completed as yet.0

Crikey, I can only imagine how stressed you must feel by the whole thing. Hope you hear something positive during today. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
