Euro Car Parks final notification

Hi all, firstly apologies if this is discussed elsewhere but I've been trawling this forum for days and am still not sure what to do.

I received a 'final notification letter' on 02/06/18 dated 08/05/18. This was a final notification advising me that payment should be paid within 28 days. This was the FIRST letter I had received from Euro Car Parks.

When I logged in to the Euro Car Parks website I was redirected to Debt Recovery Plus. I have not yet received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus.

How do I appeal or even pay the original fine at this late stage in the game?

Many thanks in advance.

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread

Go there now to learn about the game you are now caught up in and how to deal with this

If this is a proper letter before court action then #2 in the FAQ advises on how to respond.

But if it's a debt collector threat see #4

You do not pay it, read the stickies to find out why and how.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

You do not have a fine it's an invoice!
It's amazing how many letters get "lost" in the post from scamming PPC's I have my own theory on this, but they will say that they sent them, you can't prove they didn't and as you are at debt recovery stage the appeal window is shut.

Read the newbies thread to see what a con this all is, another poster will be along soon to inform you of what parliament thinks of this scammers industry.

Why are you considering paying them?

If they did carry out their threat of court, (don't worry about Debt Recovery Plus they aren't a threat to anyone) you would be in a very exclusive club indeed!

  • I'm so sorry but I can't find an answer on what to do if I've missed the appeal windows because I have not received any communication? Is there a link you post here?

The FIRST and ONLY letter I have received is a Final Notification Letter and when I go to the Euro Car Parks website and log in with PCN number it redirects me to Debt Recovery Plus who I have not yet received any correspondence from and therefore have no reference number to log in with.

I'm aware of the Newbies thread and all the stickies and have read through as best I can. I have not found an answer and am anxious to log some sort of appeal regarding the lack of correspondence before I am served with a court date.

    Please help if you can.

You won't get a court date, it's all about threats and bluff read post 4.
  • Thanks FisherJim :-)

Does this mean I don't do anything and just wait for a court date letter to appear (if indeed it does)?

You can complain all you like it won't make a difference this is a scam industry, try complaining to their trade body the BPA if you like but they take their fees from the PPC's who do you think they side with?

Did you look at my link to see what your odds of court are?

This won't be a LBC if it hasn't even been loaded onto the DRP system yet!!

If you have one PCN they aren't going to bother with you if they only went to court twice in 2017 are they?
