Hedge/tree trimming

Posted a job to heavily prune about 30-40 metres of privet hedge (top and both sides), trim 3 conifers and dispose of waste. Only been able to get one company to quote so far, and they've quoted £850. Is that as much of a !!!!take as I think it is?

We've no idea. How big is the hedge, how deep is it? How is access? How much waste to be taken away? "Trim 3 conifers"... what, 18" juniper or 100' leylandii?0
