Holidog - Job as a cat sitter ?

Hi,

I have just seen an advert about Holidog

I see they also do a cat sitter service, i love cats and this really interests me, does anyone work for them as a cat sitter? Can you tell me a bit more about your experience with them? Good or Bad?

Thank you

I would be interested in knowing about cat sitters as I have a blind young cat who is NEVER going into a cattery, she can stay in her own home if I ever go on holiday (which is highly unlikely lol)

My neighbours use a cat visiting service - twice a day.

OP - this not something you can just pick up and then drop. Your customers will want complete reliability - 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

There are pet sitting services available all around the country. A Google search will give you information

I would only use one where the sitter have been police checked, is insured and has back up available if they are ill or have a family emergency.

The site in question gives no information about these.

After all, you are opening up your home to a complete stranger and trusting your precious pet to their care.
  • There are many part-time services which people do while studying simultaneously instead of going to a care center. It will be cheaper as well as the pet stays at your place.

The kennels I use cost me £17 per night.

The local petsitter would cost £37 per night.

Two visits a day would not be adequate for a dog.
