But he drove in there and stopped, that's parked, and only had to buy a ticket.

Thanks, I will try contacting the retail park today after tracking down who they are. I must admit that to me, if someone parked in whatever spot, I would see it as totally different to breaking down in that spot.

It is different but not for a parking firm.

But I would hope the Retail Park owner/agents will have better customer service ethics and realise you are a genuine person who broke down and is extremely distressed to find a scammer demanding your pension money from you.

Parking firms would laugh at that, but hopefully not a retail park.

  • A quick update - I've spoken to one tenant who tells me excel have been sacked and that the park management company is CBRE Manchester office. CBRE haven't been able to confirm that and have promised someone, who should know, will phone me back. So waiting for the promised call at present.

Not sure that makes much difference if they were still employed at the date of your incident.

You need to find out exactly when their contract was terminated.

Hi, I've contacted CBRE three times now but still not even had confirmation that they manage this car-park.
The LBAAA has to be returned by 19th so I need to prepare that now just in case.

    Good morning
Well I got a call from CBRE who do manage the retail park. I was told they would do do what they could but couldn't promise anything. I was also told that excel were replaced for upsetting too many people who had legitimate parking rights.

I sent a copy of the PCN, as requested, and then got an email back saying that, after checking, they were not managing the park at the time of the PCN three years ago, and that there was nothing they could do to help. They do not keep records of previous management.

Could you politely reply to the email and thanks them for trying, and ask if they would kindly confirm by email that they would have been prepared to cancel the charge, had it been from a date when they were managing the site and that:
