66 Plate Scenic Car alarm

We purchased a 66 plate new shape Renault Scenic last June. In October the alarm and hazards would not stop while trying to enter the car. Eventually after a few minutes they would stop, but everytime you tried to enter the car again, off it went. Covered by Renault/RAC assistance, so contacted dealer who we purchased car from, and the car was relayed in by the RAC and a hire car was given to us. After almost 10 days in the Workshop the car was returned to us, with a new alarm system fitted - perfect!
Last Wednesday, while in an car park, put the shopping in the boot, took trolley back, went to get in car with keyless system and off it went again! Exactly the same problem. As we weren't far from home, we drove it home alarm and hazards blazing. Called out RAC assistance again - sure enough same problem, so car was once again relayed in and a hire car given to us. Because we "hadn't booked the car in" (?) the car can not be seen until today, but we did find out that there has been no modification to the alarm system, so presumably another one will be fitted and 6 months down the line we will probably have the same problem.
I have found someone else on a Renault Forum, who has had exactly the same problem and their dealer basically told them to get in touch with Renault UK .
We have already done this, and they have emailed back and confirmed that our car has been relayed to the dealer and that we are currently in a hire car!!!!!
So...... two things, has anyone else had any experience of this and does anyone know what our rights are. I am a nervous wreck, as when the alarm goes off - it is damn loud and just won't stop unless I walk away - I cannot return to the vehicle as it does the same thing. How do I know that last time they fitted a new alarm and just did not re-set it and that is what is going to happen again.
We have owned Scenics for about 12 years now, but saved our money and treated ourselves to the new one - wished we'd stuck with our old plodder.
Any help anyone?
