Ipads and Iphones will depend on which models, but should support WiFi-n (up to 300 mbps).
Computers will depend on the WiFi adaptors that are fitted to them, but may well support WiFi-n.

    Thanks doaM

also, we are going to build a summer/garden house in the garden, approx 30m away from the router location, is there any way of extending the new 200Mbps down there? Am guessing hard wired with Cat 5e cable, to a 2nd router? (just forward planning so ican work out cables etc)

I've used one of these to extend a wifi signal over 200 metres.

They do a 300Mbps version for a fiver more.

Best solution would be to run a cable , second best would be a wireless bridge (PtP connection) with a switch at the other end

Or Homeplugs could be another option, assuming the summer house has mains power from the existing domestic distribution board.

Thats great, perfect length too, many thanks. And at the summer house end, plug the above tougher cat5e cable into another wireless router?

Just do not bury the cable, put it in a rigid and strong pipe, not a hose pipe either :)

My internet provider (VM) delivers about 215 wirelessly on my 200mps service and supplies the router, also does all the maintenance for free. Worth checking if your new provider does the same

With the cat 5e cable you have several options. If you have capability (spare ports on your new router -ensure you have several) then you could use a wired connection for one device, a splitter for more than one or even use your existing router (probably) as a 'secondary' router that will allow several hard wired connections and wifi local to your summerhouse that might suit the mobile devices.
