Hi
I'm trying to find some up to date contact details for Copleys Ltd aka Copleys Bank Ltd. The correspondence from the time show an address of Swan Court, Mansel Close, SW19 4AA. Contact emails bounce back. Have checked on Companies House and still trading but registered address doesn't show on Royal Mail. Should I write to registered address and see if I get a reply.

There is no company that has been regulated by the FCA called Copleys Bank Ltd or Copleys Ltd.
Although there was an interim permission for consumer credit for Copleys Limited at SW19 4JS but it lapsed.
So, there appears to not have been a regulated company called Copleys Bank.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Thanks, that's interesting. Ithought a Company had to be regulated through FCA to lend money. We had a couple of loans through them.0

Nothing seems to suggest they were a bank apart from what you are saying. Everything points to them being a broker not a lender.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Their name does appear on the Experian report though rather than a lender. I have a couple of letters from them and nothing on the implies that they are brokers. I would have thought that this would have been would have been somewhere on the paperwork.0

I would have thought that this would have been would have been somewhere on the paperwork. in theory then they could have brokered a loan for us with PPI and we wouldn't have the first idea who the lender was. I do have a leaflet from them advising rates and loans with life assurance included so its very possible this was the case. Looks like one for the bin0
