Hi,
My daughter is doing her A Levels and wants a laptop that will see her through University, just something to run office type applications and brows the internet, nothing too advanced.
What kind of spec would you recommend and can anyone point me towards some good deals, prices seem to vary massively.
Thanks for any help,
David

For simple work like that anything will work.
My daughters old laptop is between 8 and 10 years old, it would still do what you need it to.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
i3, Window 10, 4GB min. But it will be slow. Cheap laptops never last but if at Uni and in Halls of Residence then cheap is probably better as will no doubt either get stolen or broken.0

Personally I'd like a laptop with a solid state drive for robustness and portability.0 -
A good example at around £380;
£349, minus the 10% discount, plus 20% VAT.

My main concern here is whether she might need Windows 10 Pro as opposed to Home.
They also have the option without a DVD Drive but with a Fingerprint Reader for £384.
1 year Collect Return hardware support included.
They also have a half price discount on their 2Yr Premium Support with Onsite Service0
