    Well I'm going for a PS3 then if Blu-Ray loses I still have a Games Console :)

    BTW will a PS3 play normal DVD's?

The PS3 will play standard DVD's and upscales them too.
  • Blueray Deffo.

Disney is an exclusive backer of Blu-ray.

Bob Chapek, president of Disney Studios Home Entertainment, said yesterday that Blu-ray's victory in the high-def disc format war is "inevitable."

    Blueray Player is only £299

Holds more, so more features a studio can put on it.

Type in blueray vs HD-DVD in google and u wil find loads of stuff

But HD DVD has exclusive backers as well, and the non exclusive backers such as Time Warner seem to be backing HD DVD more than Blu Ray in its releases. As for the "more features" argument I doubt that would actually sway the market especially as that's a compromise with it being a more expensive technology. I still think expectation of an outright winner one way or the other is unrealistic and forgetting the most recent optical disc format war (DVD+/-).
