Hi,
I tried to join the credit club to do a free credit check in order to start my ppi applications.
It wouldn't accept my enrolment and I presume as I'm not on the electoral role.
Long story short, I am living off grid at the moment while we build our houseboat. So the address I use is my Dads just for our post.
If I put myself and my partner on the electoral role just for this purpose
Would it affect his council tax, even though we don't live there
Thank you

If your dad is single and gets a discount he will lose it if you register yourself there. Try Equifax via Clear Score and Call Credit via Noddle and see if you have any more luck. You may need to register with Experian directly and provide id if they can't find you.
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
