Opening a wrongly addressed letter

I use WPA
Thanks
Does your router use WPS though?
You could have your WPA2 secured with a 20 character random & unique password (not predictable like those from algorithms or guessable phrases) but if your router has WPS thats a 8 character code, because of the way its done, it can be cracked in less than a day. Even a 20+ character password isn't safe from cracking, its just that (with the current limitations on processing power) it could take thousands of years to do it.
If your router has WPS, disable it. Or switch it to modem mode only and get another router for Wifi where the WPS can be switched off.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Whoever said that is mistaken. Of course it applies. Just google it. When you think about it, it makes sense to have some sort of legislation ie for instances where someone deliberately tinkers with a person's mail in order to cause them problems. - whether a wrongly delivered item or say an ex who used to live at the same addresssocietys_child wrote: »It's also been said that once pushed through the letter box, it is no longer in the postal system as it has been delivered. In that case the The Postal Services Act 2000 would no longer apply.0 -

You should charge the solicitors for your time to go to the post office to return the letter - at solicitors rates (ie a minimum of £300 per hour + vat) - perhaps if people did this, they would take more care over posting letters !!
Alternatively, open the letter and potentially blackmail its intended recipient (depending on its contents)0 -
incorrect, as they can identify the specific machine used, simply providing a connection doesn't make you liable.

I would prefer not to have to prove that I am innocent - rather than them prove that I am guilty (by default)!!
I am aware of MAC codes but these corporations are not that intelligent !0 -
Opening mail addressed to your house is perfectly legal. It crosses the line when you use the contents for pecuniary advantage - ie you use a credit card inside.
Most Creditors/Debt collectors will ignore mail returned in post - it's one of the commonest trick that debtors use.
Easiest way to resolve the issue is to send them one letter by recorded delivery and tell them they have the wrong address. Continue opening all mail in case the situation progresses to Court Summons, CCJ and bailiffsThe man without a signature.0
