    I replied with the cure in post 2 , they've spent longer faffing around than it would to buy a cheap set of headphones

    OK The app or the associated CISCO video player - causes my laptop to blue screen - repeatedly
    So - they are clearly no good and have both been sent back from whence they came !

    That's a bit unfair....on novices.:)
    I would have thought that everyone has at least the earphones that came with their phone, or, a quick borrow of such from neighbours...
