Barclays switching offer

Hi

Sorry if this has already been explained.

How do you use Barclays switching offer if you are already a customer?

I have a basic current account so presume I have to switch, and upgrade to Blue Rewards but ...

The offer link is only for new customers so how do I switch if I am an existing customer?

I also only have the basic current account so have to upgrade. Should I do that before or after the switch?

    This would be an upgrade, not a switch. Your account number is likely to stay the same.

    Barclays aren't going to pay you to move from one of their accounts to another.

    If you have a non-Barclays account plus an existing Barclays account you can switch the non-Barclays one into Barclays.

    You'd need your Barclays account to be the right type, so might have to upgrade first.

    And, for existing customers, the switch from another bank can only be done face to face in branch for this offer
