Can a defence be amended once submitted?

My daughter has been harassed for a few years by Gladstones for parking at a retail park (with employer's permission) where she was working.
Long story short. She received the claim from the court whilst I was out of the country and responded without my knowledge.
She has now received Gladstone's DQ (which prompted me to ask her about her defence).
The defence is not as robust as i would have made it (with the assistance of the great threads on here) and so i was wondering if one is able to amend the defence at this stage? If so, what is the process? She responded using the form rather than MCOL.
Thanks in advance

Yes, for a significant fee. Probably not worth the money.
Maybe the situation can be recovered with a good Witness Statement.0 -

As Keith says. The WS is where you put in the killer facts - but you have to collect them first. Opinions don't cut it at court.
