Has anyone succesfully tried smart dns to get around geoblocking of netflix? if so can you give details. I have tried using smart dns proxy but found it difficult to set up my router and it did not work to well at all on my smart tv.

Not sure about Smart DNS but I trialled Identity Cloaker a couple of weeks back and at that time it was successful in accessing BBC iPlayer so it should work with Netflix.
I normally use AirVPN but, along with most other VPNs, their UK servers have now been detected and blacklisted by the BBC.0 -
Hi letsbehonest. I have been using smartdnsproxy for over 4 months now in France and it is great. I can get all the UK geoblcked streaming services and can change netflix to the USA if I wish. I would recommend it. Give it a tryas it is free for 14 days. Very easy to set up too and you can set it up on any number of devices as long as they all go through the same router (i.e. ip address). I have it set up on two smart tvs and one PC.0
